In 'Opening Night,' the roses were in a memorable Cafe Tropical scene when Johnny had a hangover. All he asked of Twyla was for black coffee and toast. His children saw this as an opportunity to prank their dad and his sensitive stomach by ordering smelly items like hollandaise sauce and fish.

Alexis and David had some great (and not-so-great) sibling moments as siblings. At the start of the series, the two could have been more separate as siblings and individuals but by the end, these two were closer than ever.

David even invited Alexis to his business meeting with a local cheese curator. When Alexis tasted her cheese, she shouted "mm, nom-nom, David!" which was one of OldConsideration4349's favorite scenes. David hated Alexis' use of "nom-nom" but fans loved it.

There weren't too many characters fans hated more than Roland. While Roland was a great resource for the Roses when they first moved to Schitt's Creek, he had disgusting food moments that rubbed everyone the wrong way.

Redditor PepperTreeVilla shared, "Aside from 'Fold In The Cheese,' I love watching Roland dig through the cheese fondue while Johnny and Moira watch in horror." In that scene, the Roses had dinner at the Schitts for the first time and were disgusted when Roland lost his piece of bread in the fondue bowl and dug it out with his fist — only to shove it in his mouth afterward.

"Poor Thing. That's The Garnish For The Lobster Roll."

David and Patrick's relationship timeline eventually took them to a romantic engagement and planning a wedding. Although David (and the Roses) were short on cash, everyone wanted David and Patrick to have the wedding of their dreams.

Johnny was responsible for paying the food bill but when he saw how expensive David's taste was, he regretted it. Beckd123 loved the scene where Johnny and David were tasting food, writing, "It's when David, Stevie, and Johnny got food tasting for the wedding. That scene cracks me up! David talking about wanting lobster and Johnny 'are we inviting the Vanderbilts?'"

Redditor Thesearemychanclas loved when Moira said, "Twyla, do you think it might be too much of an imposition to ask the chef to whip me up a kifla?"

When Moira got back from filming theCrows movie in Bosnia, she came back with a new sense of whimsy and passion. She had a hard time not speaking about her Bosnian travels, including the food she had there. Knowing Cafe Tropical's menu was limited, it was hilarious that Moira would order international cuisine. It further proved that Moira just wanted to talk about her jet-setting life. It was a quote that added to Moira being one of the funniest Schitt's Creek characters.

"And The Usual Fried Chicken On A Waffle, Extra Skin."

Roland Schitt had some of the most cringeworthy moments inSchitt's Creek — especially when around food.

While dining in Cafe Tropical, Johnny ordered a healthy salad while Roland ordered chicken and waffles. This scene was one of the funniest (and grossest) for jmac11281. "Mine is Roland's chicken and waffles with a ton of syrup. I watch him in both amusement and disgust," they told Reddit. Not only did Twyla bring over an extra plate of fried chicken skins but Roland wound up choking on the chicken for more than a minute before proceeding to eat it again...

David Rose

"I Thought I Was Shame-Eating In Private."

Blessing-chocolate32 loved when David said, "I thought I was shame-eating in private" when Jake approached him at the barn party. Jake, of course, didn't know what "shame-eating" meant but David didn't have time to explain it to him.

When it came to food, David explained that he ate his feelings when he was upset. This was seen when he found out that Patrick had a former fiance without his knowledge, so he ate pizza, a cookie cake, and leftover sliders from a BBQ.

"Fold In The Cheese!"

While Moira had amazing character growth inSchitt's Creek, David matured the most in the series. After all, he was the only Rose family member to remain in Schitt's Creek by the end because he felt like he finally found his home.

Before David matured fully, there was one scene where he and Moira attempted to cook enchiladas. NicNoop138 wrote "Def the creamy enchiladas with the cheese folded in" as one of their favorite scenes. And within that scene was the iconic quote thatSchitt's Creek fans love to repeat, "Fold in the cheese!"

Alexis: "I Was Saving That For After My Run, David!" David: "Oh, My God, I Guess I Was Saving It For During Your Run, Then."

This foodie moment was brief but it was a fan favorite because it captured the complicated nature of sibling rivalry perfectly. CharlotteLucasOP wrote, "When David ate Alexis' yogurt right in front of her and had no shame or remorse."

In the scene, Alexis came back from a run and was peeved when her last yogurt was gone. Right behind her eating the yogurt was David. While Alexis was saving that yogurt for after the run, David was saving it for during her run. The hilarious exchange was relatable for those with siblings.

"Hm, David, Last I Heard He Was Screaming At Wolfgang. Apparently, There Weren't Enough Capers On The Smoked Salmon Crudites."

Moira was known for the ridiculously complex words she used throughoutSchitt's Creek. Fans of the show learned different words thanks to her vocabulary. Fans also learned more about the Roses life before they lost everything, thanks to a flashback in 'Merry Christmas, Johnny Rose.'
